Going to have a bash at fitting it tomorrow or Saturday morning before i head to scotland at 2pm! Dont really want to cut the standard centre section as its only a few month old and when the time comes to sell the car it will be going as standard.
I have no money to go out and buy a new centre section :p.
Will it fit over the flange? or will i have to cut that off? not bothered about the backbox sticking out 2 inchs for now until i can afford a proper centre section. (Seen photos where people had it fitted with out cutting)
Just want to know how i can fit it on??
Anyone in the NE with know how up for giving a hand :homme:
Also be a bit of a whore to fit as the centre silencer can sit right up against the underside of the car! It's not at the moment but the backbox sitting about an inch to low at the back due to this and it looks ghey :homme:
Would get manic motors to fit it but have no money :(
Was going to put that diesel centre section on as i dont give a shit about cutting that, but have a bad feeling will be a bitch to even get that sealed to the gmc manifold and dont really want to take my cat out.
Here are some photos of it lined with the diesel pipe and it deffo wont fit over.

be ages actually before i go back to standard! So tempted to cut it like, could weld it back on if needs be when go to sell it??
The size of the magnex pipe looks massive against the standard centre pipe imo :n: do i need a reducer? the lad i bought it off (Craig (http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56190) with black saxo) had it fitted to his standard centre section without a reducer!

when i fitted my magnex it had to be cut alot further back than the flange, and you do need a reducer as the magnex is 2" bore and the standard is 1 3/4"
get under the car and hold the back box up, you will soon see where it needs to be cut

tempted so tempted, but doubt am going to do it :n: dont think i have the bottle, what are you doing today pred ;)
I had the same prob on the furio, when I fitted the mag box, got a centre pipe (quick code 3HF45)from Supersprint, the pipe had to be cut and a reducer fitted, saved the furio silencer for when I need it later? I'll post pic of tail box, and kept the cat on new pipe.

The cutting & fitting was done by kwikfit for £20 in hand!!!!

you have to cut about 12"s of the standard pipe then use a reducer for the pipe to go into then two clamps jobs a good one north eastern tyres and exhausts will do this for you for around £30-40 depending on the work involved

Do you want a pic of myn fitted to the supersprint same concept really the supersprint section just snuggles into the magnex and then clamp it down your going to have trouble doing it this way because the standard section is alot smaller bore than the supersprint and you going to need some sort of reducer.

ill get you a pic of mine too mate, i was looking at my old exhaust and didnt notice the clamp on the back of the back box linking centre pipe you should be fine it will stick out a lot so id say you will have to cut loads of the pipe off for it to fit, you have loads to play with get out there and get it done, i am quite scared to cut things but once you start it you will be ok a promise mate like a said put the magnex back box on the hangers hold it up and mark were to cut just do a bit at a time if your a bit wary :y:

take old backbox off mount the new one on the brackets and rubber things offer it up side by side and mark what needs to be cut easiest way to do it obviously leave enough to slot inside the magenex pipe about 2"'s or so then clamp

see i did mine by looking at my magnex with it all being welded up i thought at the backbox would of been clamped there, so you will have a load of pipe to play with as said trial it on then mark and cut it leaving a few cetremetres to play with because your scared lol :p

didnt even tempt it, think am going to leave it till i can afford a supersprint centre!
Will i still need to use a reducer with it? i know i will have to cut it though :homme:

cut and then just use a bracket to connect to the supersprint as its quite snug in inside the magnex pipe and only needs a little nip
