Well as its been a sunny day in yorkshire ive noticed that the heat gets to the saxo and bogs down the throttle response.

After my journey i checked under the bonnet and found that the induction pipes were really really warm.

Heres where it sits at the moment;

Whats the best thing to keep it cool, Relocate the intake? Wrap the pipes?, Get a heat sheid? Or all 3.....

I was thinking of putting it down here; And getting a heat sheild made for the section of pipe closest to the throttle body.

could wrap the pipe with heat wrap i suppose mate

you dont want any cold air feeds low down on the car as if you go through any puddles your gonne be getting water sucked in

Oh yea dint think about puddles.... fudge...

I think ill get a bigger intake but mount in the same place, and try and get it heatwrapped. Also gonna get me mums company to make me a heatsheild for the two pipes.

I had an idea.... Im going to get another one of the plastic intake things and put it unfront of the rad. Cut it up a bit mount a bit of piping on there and see what happens.....
