I dont know much about saxo's but my new 106 engine is running a 99 saxo vtr inlet manifold and throttle body
The idle control valve is on the left hand side (as you look at the manifold) and is supposed to have a pipe going over to the induction kit
I dont have that pipe and the car is idling at 2k rpm
Could one of you VTR owners do me a huge favour and tell me what happens if you disconnect the pipe and run the car??
I know its a lot to ask - but I'll buy someone a drink or something - im desperate to work out why its idling so high
Its not driveable when it ticks over at 2k lol
I didn't think the pipe was nescessary so just put a green filter on the Idle Control Valve intake hole - but I think maybe the pipe or the connector on the induction kit has a restrictor in it?
Anyone got a pipercross induction kit lying about and could take a pic of the connector on the kit??
