Just how fast is a cammed VTS with 708's (so 157 bhp then :P) compared to a vts with just breathing mods? Worth the extra cash, or not?

depends on the remap! tbh i dont no, as today i have gone from a pipercross open filter to an raceland enclosed and have noticed better performance from the raceland.

Standard would win due to the fact uprated cams weigh more.
True story.

catcam 708s give good power across the board,
it would push a vts into 172/82 beating territory.

a standard vts wont.

0-5mph i reckon a standard vts would be quicker.

i had a vts with manifold exhaust, decat and filter

my mate has the same but with cat cam 708's and a chipwizard remap

to be all honest there really wasnt that much in it up until about 90 then he would go past with ease

defo worth it like

I don't really agree. Since I had the 708s installed, I'm positive I can get to 60 mph in a quicker time. I've noticed the biggest difference to be that 60 to 90 MPH kindda time. If you're driving straight, and floor it from around 5'000 rpm in 3rd gear, it's so much quicker getting to 90+ MPH for sure.

Although... what you mention about the 90 MPH+ is pretty much true. When you are coming to around 5'000 in 4th gear, you can really feel the car pull now, whereas before, it was kindda dead in 4th and 5th gear.
