get a raceland 4-2-1 manifold only 377£ bout 10bhp. also get 15's and slam it 60mm front and 80mm back.

a 3 bar fuel regulator, so will this not improove performance? also could you take a look at this, are the rear lights standard or tinted, and is that a different backbox? or standard
cheers

put a pic up n il have a look mate. yeh well it prob wont give u more bhp but lets more fuel through but u wana do a bit more work before u get one really. if u get cam manifold and head then 3 bar fuel regulator it wil go well

I'm not a fan of increasing the fuel pressure to try to force more fuel into the mixture. It won't give you a performance gain.

If you have increased the breathing ability of the engine then you could gain from adding a measured amount of extra fuel where needed in the rev range. Note the word measured. No cheap way to do it. You either fit an aftermarket ECU or have a remap.

If you've added an induction kit then the next thing to look at is the manifold and exhaust.

10bhp LMFAO i wish the gain was that big! more like 3-5bhp :p

i agree with the choice of wheels though, 15's are best choice imo, but i wouldn't go down as far as 60mm or even 80mm, it would handles like shite. 35- 40mm drop is the way to go mate, and its practical!

Good Solid advice there, Id look to the manifold and exhaust next before if need a change in cam depending on budget and then a remap. I wouldnt worry about increasing fueling until a change of cam is on the cards and let the person remapping the engine tell you if you need more fuel or not.

whats a samco induction kit? link????

I think he just means the silicone hose to replace the OE item between the airfilter Induction cone/OE airbox and the Throttle body.

.. and let the person remapping the engine tell you if you need more fuel or not.

if you get the car on a RR you can get a curve that shows whether the car is running lean or rich at any given revs. That'll show where additional fuel is required.

my cam came toher day, just need to buy a vernier and its getting remapped, should be next month, but i thought on the newer model vtr's you cant put a boost valve on becasue the a built in unit, not sure what model andymanc has got though, and as for lowering, mines 60mm at front and about 90mm on back and it handles like a dream, just slightly impractical at the speed bumps!

well when i say a dream, i mean for a saxo

as said above really mate, you want to be thinking about getting your self a manifold, and a exaust system, after this for more power it really depends on how much you want to spend on it, i.e cam, head work, mapped etc.
