ive got a 2000 w reg vtr and wondered if its the mk1 90bhp engine or mk2 98bhp cos when i look at parts ie exhausts, cam etc they always say 96-00 or 01-03. help plz
plus wat does vtr mean?

90 bhp I think. I think the 98bhp engine came out on a X reg. If your cat is underneath the car and not in the manifold then it's a 90bhp

Oh and VTR stands for Vitesse Tres Rapide or Riche. Some people say it's one, some people say it's the other lol

Yeah i think vtr means very sporty car and vts means very fast car iirc?
