just had my engine rebuild and going to go down the turbo route? have a renault 5 gt turbo and t2 turbo fitted to it, now my problem is were duz the oil feed go to? and will i have to change the loom or chip it as ill be running low boost (about 6 psi) and other things any 1 can help me with to get this bay boy running?:drink:

hahahaha so you've gone and put a panty R5 Turbo on your sax, and now your doing your research??
if i were you son, i'd have done a bit more research BEFORE buying anything!
what else do you have exactly?

front mounted intercooler and all pipes but dont know how to get the oil feed to it? or what other turbo/ manifold could i use? just want the most easyest and cheapest way realy?

no such thing as a decent cheap turbo mate!! and the R5 turbo is pants imo. have a use the search function and have a look at posts mate in relation to turbo's mate!

m8 i wouldnt of done a r5 in a saxo, r5 are shite! would of been better just putting a vts lump in and using throttle bodys.

its just vts is now done any turbo n intrecooler is there just need oil feed to it

come again? you will need custom manni aswell. no such thing as a cheap turbo kit

an r5 turbo would suit the vtr surly?! y not?! its a small blower suited to the 1.4 pushrod engine, not 1000 miles away from vtr really. . . similar cars too imo small light nippy go cart style cars. i am a fan of r5s tbh. . . . id love 1.

im using the vtr engine but with a r5 turbo n manifold wouldnt put that r5 piece ov shite engine in the car mate

a 1.4 pushrod engine, is quite a distance from a VTR engine.
Pushrod is very old technology, i believe.

true true but the set up of the VTR & 5 are not a millions miles apart, small nippy cars and all that.

its not turbo that crap on at r5 its the intercooling system (this is the reason r5's blows engines) askany seasoned r5 owner when you buy r5's the first job is uprate the intercooler system ect ect get the cooling right you are onto a winner
