View Full Version : what bigger induction filter will fit in my enclosed induction kit

basically got an enclosed induction but its got a gay universal filter inside and i can remember some people upgraded the one in theirs for a bigger one that still fits inside ok. what filter is it and how much ??

is it the vts green filter cus that looks huge or is it for a diff car or saxo??

not sure it was off a mate, it was fitted to a 106 but it does look like the raceland one. its carbon fibre and ive got to move the power steering thing to fit it and cut down where it goes into the inlet

Get a pic up with the lid off and measure the dimentions. This will help.

Then get onto somebody like Kam-Racing or sourch a universal cone from somewhere but besure to check the size because you dont want the filter inside to be pushed rite up against the walls of the scoop otherwise your be infact reducing the surface area of the cone and suffercating the filter

have you got pictures of your induction kit and current filter. It would help to id what one it is. I think the only carbon fibre ones were the procomp ones and all the rest are carbon look abs plastic

The Green scoop had a Carbon Firbe 'look' to it that Im sure fooled a few people under the age of 15 :y:

There are alot of scoops floating about these days. Pic's are a 'MUST' for things like this. :P:

its only carbon effect obvously because i think its only a cheap one but i will get pics up later
