definately going for piper now, just need a final few things answering before i order it! im thinking of going for a ' stainless steel backbox with a 3.5" inward rolled tailpipe ' firstly is that the best one to go for or are other tailpipe designs better? secondly do they fit well? as i saw one that hung a little too low for my liking, and what will it sound like? im after something very deep when low in revs but nice and throaty when opening it up through the gears!
also could you post pics up please of the suggested piper backboxes!
cheers

There's the tail pipe you mentioned or the 4" slash cut.

Out of the main exhaust manufactures Magnex and Mongoose (which Im sure are slightly rebranded Magnex's) have quite big rear boxes which on a lowered car 40mm+ could (COULD not will) get caught on things where as Scropion/Janspeed/Piper have more compact rear siliencers.

If I was going for a Piper Id go for the 4'slash cut as it looks spot on and sounds even better than it looks. 4' might sound too big but with the slash cut its nice.

Try either www.performancecentre.co.uk , www.motorsportworld.co.uk or www.speedbox.co.uk for best prices on Pipers
