you might notice something.

Exactly what I was thinking. Must be quoting max power figures lol

But a full decat system will get you 3-5 at most.

or im quoting Rolling Road figures.

interesting :detective:

i would have thought with a good system 3-5bhp :afro:

i know people are going to say they are not accurate now that i have the figures to prove it.

but im just stating what i have on paper.

believe it or not. i dont actually care how powerful my car is.

yeah around the 4-5bhp mark.

or im quoting Rolling Road figures.

Rollers are not allways correct, some can read higher or lower. go to a different set and it may be only 2 bhp. Some dyno's are not gospel...

i know this. but people teel you to get rolling road figures to prove what your saying. then when you get the figures they come up with that they arent accurate.

so whats the point in having them at all?

wasnt having a dig mate :p is it a furio i take it? what mods you got? also what was your total read out? i am actually interested :p

understand what your saying there :y: just had a look at your readings couldn't be bothered to copy them over here! lol

Rolling roads arent always accurate mate, I bet on another rr you would get different results.

theres more than one reason to get your car dyno'd other than bhp such as torque, vacum, air flue ratio, figures

Didnt mean to sound like i was having a dig back. im easily wound up

all i have that 'could' affect performance is:

JR Open Induction Kit.
Sebring Backbox on a straight through pipe.

Thats all.

yea it is a furio.

Maybe i would have a different read out on another roller guys. but then anyone that puts there car on a dyno needs to take it to more than one to belive their car is running that much bhp and torque.

But they wouldnt be accurate according to people on here unless you get more than one read out from different RR's.

im not arguing. im just asking. and saying what my print out says ive gained from my modifications :A:

have you got a read out of what the car was standard and with exhaust & filter on ????

stop stop everyone..

You should get any readings done at the same RR so that you can gauge how any mods have effected your vehicle. A before and after reading can tell you a lot about what works and what doesn't

for pub bragging figures different rolling roads are not comparible.

was gonna say something along the same lines. not winded you up jackman. i wonder what it would have rolled standard

argh i see the 'engine minors' are out in force again.

as has been said diffrerent rolling roads give different figures.

the only way you can get a TRUE quote would be on the same rolling road, sam day, same ambient temp, same tester. Some rolling roads the rollers are not just different but testers may even use the wrong gear which i have read about many times belive it or not, and the ambient temp would effect the figures drastically.

I think the things people need to learn on here are that when they quote figures even if its from a RR there are people sat behind a keyboard who will allways disagree no matter what is put in front of them, its a fact of life.

Thats true, the last rolling road day i was at, a lad's scooby ran around 330bhp in 3rd, and around 360bhp in 4th.

yep its a very big problem with the fact that different testers use different gears.

most people should also state what gear the test was done in.

you getting the single box system from ABP mate?

top system, i love mine ;)

never been on a rolling road yet.
planning on taking the track car to one when the vts engine is fitted, once whentotally standard then again when the turbo setup is fitted and all mapped up ;)

only way to to an acurate rolling road is at the same place with the same person. before and after mods, then you can get more accurate figures

knowing that you only gain abaout 5bhp from a de-cat system and backbox, what i wanna know is how much difference is thier in acceleration and throttle response than that of a standard setup?
