people have just received the newmans cams from the group buy so there sould be a few fitted in the next few weeks, alot of them went for the ph3's which aparently give simu;lar results to the 708's

Can anyone post some pics of their RR results with either cat cam 708s or these Newman cams? I'm (meant to be) running 708s althought I never actually saw them being installed... I'm still confused as to why the RPM postitioning of my max torque and max BHP is still the same at it was with the standard cams... Cheers.

im just sourcing the bits i need 1st, cambelt ect. when would you have the time to do it?

Mine came back from Chipwizards with 153 bhp as well. At least there's some consistancy there which is intersting. I must honestly admit, since the big valve head and tweak of the cam timing, it's a lot better, I'm pretty happy at the moment.

what exhaust did you ahve when yours was mapped? i think the main problem with mine was the poowerflow.

belly - i work shifts and have a lot of time off work so i can do it anytime. im a bit booked up till after 1st may bank hol. so in about 2 weeks i'll be free.

Yeah, powerflop'd alright! Still, when Wayne does the mapping, he just copies the info from other maps of same spec 106 / VTSs... Obviously he has a little tweak or too, but not a lot me thinks... I'm fairly sure my map isn't 100%, especially after the change of head since. Plus, my engine check light is stuck on (clear it and it comes back in less than a few days) reporting ECU processor malfunction or something similar. This only happened after Wayne did his bit... I wonder if he broke something? LOL. Anyways, Omex 600 is next on the agenda, and some TBs to match.
