a mate uses garden hose to run it to the tank so any is fine imo.

there wont be any pressure there so you dont need uber good shit like samco.

no one did ask you.

you know why a catch tank is needed or just felt like posting for the sake of it?

if you fit an aftermarket induction kit then the oil breather system needs somewhere to go, it effects performance being reciruclated into the TB itself and its not a good idea to just have it going onto the rocker cover etc..

a catch tank is a very good idea actually

Ryan

imo that looks less complete than the first one!

it is rare they come with a hose unless you get an expansive mocal one!

its there for a function.. so if your on a budget going for 'style hoses' is pointless.

people may have a better looking engine but its a bit sad tbh, id rather have a car that actually goes well ;)

unless you intend on driving around with the bonnet up that is?

the filter that is the same size as the pipe coming out the catch tank is a good start..

no one did ask you.

Indeed it does. oil does not combust and therefore sludges up the intake and carbons up the engine. You will get a cleaner burn without the oil and vapour mixing with the air.

should have seen the state of my mates high milage std vtr i worked on the other day, i removed the airbox and the poor sod thought his engine had blown up there was so much oil on the tb itself..

as ive said before it wont fuck up the engine, just not grear for performance. explained by kam
