hi people my car is in garage at moment having a few goodies on it,
i know not many people may agree with this but here we go of work im having underdone;

rear vts axle complete with discs, sports anti roll bar front and rear, new discs and pads a set of mintex and abs
lowered torsion bar to match the front,
stronger front swing arms with new ball joints,
a remap for my cams to work properly, 4-2-1 manifold if it'll fit with de-cat.
magnex centre and backbox,

all this is being added to my westcoast and when it comes out of garage hopefully tomoro it'll have a full 12mth mot on it and will be having a interior facelift to a vts full interior.

just cant wait to get it back!!! it might seem daft but i want a better braking and suspension set up as the car has had engine mods such as kent cams. lightened and balanced fly wheel, fast road clutch, apiro induction kit so im wanting to make the most of it!!!

comments much appreciated and will add pics soon as i get from garage tomoro just wanted to know peoples views on work im gettin done thanks ant

i wanna get it rolling roaded!!! but im hoping its about being honest 90bhp??? could be possible oh yeah and the one i had a race with was a vtr decat stainless system encolsed induction kit and superduperchipped on a 02 plate!!!

he said he reckons his was about 110bhp but i dunno but obviously mine is more torque

I know this is gona sound abit off, and I know alot of people make the jump engine conversion wise from 1.6 8v to 1.6 16v but would it have been abit more inexpensive to have sold your Westcoast and sourched a factory 16v car?

I mean good luck to your for doing all the work and that but how much is all that work costing to have done compaired to the price of a VTS car.

Also have you checked with your insurance company that you policy covers the upgrade to the 16v engine?

Like I said - please dont take that the wrong way, just wondered if you had looked into just buying the 16v car.

if you were way ahead of a vtr like you said you were you'll have more than 90bhp! the 02 plate ones are 98bhp as standard :y:
respect for doing it to a 1.4!
