So since my last weight loss thread iv done nothing but eat, smoke and drink....


As i tensed myself and swung my balls in the mirror last night getting out of the bath i realised i need to lose a tad bit of weight. Im not fat but i have the gut.

After Germany (i get back next Tuesday) i have 5 weeks before i go on one of my summer holidays and i want to be buff tings. Well maybe not but just a little bit of weight loss.

Im willing to go for a jog on a morning (round 1mile), quit drinking for a month, stop smoking and eat healthy.

Im really willing put my body through pain, hunger or what ever just to see what happens. Reason i havnt done this all ready is because i just think whats the point...But i no as soon as i see the weight dropping i know for a fact i will be hooked and wont mind doing it. If you get me?

Right i really have no idea what to eat for this month....

At the moment it goes like this....

Morning - Nothing.
12 - Turkey salad sandwich from work
6-7 - Evening meal, can be anything from pasta, steak to a dirty fry up.

Through out the day i recken about 1 litre of 'fizzy pop' and a packet of crisps.

Weekend i could probs just have one/two meals, and say 10-20 pints over the weekend.

Can anyone advise me on what to eat? Im a pretty fussy eater but just throw some ideas at me.

Is a one mile jog enough?


Before next Tuesday i will weigh myself, and measure myself (not like that) and i will record the results weekly till i go away.....



How much do you think i could lose in one month, eating healthly, drinking heathly and a 1 mile jog 6 days a week?

lose the pints, ive noticed ive gone up about 2 stone since I hit 18

plus free food from BP, just go a few weeks without the booze

smoking dosent matter

or just stop the pints and coronas etc and stick to girls drinks- vodka & coke, shots etc


I reckon that would make a diffrence, and obvioulsy cut ut crisps etc

but im sure some sax-p health freak will come and flame me in a minute and tell you to drink protein shakes and stand on your head shouting some fitness guru chant.. (leo)

LOL DAN! its these personal trainers roaming the boreds you wanna watch out for, they;ll make losing weight sound like you have to kill yaself haha!

leckie, cutting out shit makes a HUGGGGGE diff, infact i think i said it in the other thread but lets say you ate well for 1 month (no beers,crisps etc) the weight would drop off even without exersising.

best thing to do, first is eat breakfast even if you arent hungry (shit i know) then just eat well through the day, no crisps pop etc, have lots of water. do that jog in the morning 3/4 times a week before breakfast, just jog/walk for 20 mins.

thats my advice, not techincal, simple and i gurantee it works if you do it. best of luck

Its guna start next tuesday when i get back from germany lol.

Just looked its 6 weeks from germany till i go away again. So willing for 6 week of pain and no booze.

Leckie follow my routine posted in here and do the 300 workout on wednesdays.

You need to get your pulse rate into fat burning mode which i cant remember what bpm it is

i wouldnt run everymorning a mile but run 3 miles every other day or three times a week. 1 mile is too easy which youll just jog but if you run 3 more intensely youll get better results. you could also cut down on your carbs later in the day so do most of your eating, say breakfast, mid morning snack and dinner and eat a light salad or similar at night or whenever you eat. porridge eggs in morning?i also want to see before and after pics :P

just keep it as simple as it is mate, a ham sarnie + banna would be better than a choclate bar + crisps. home cooked pasta with chicken or something would be better than macdonalds, etc etc etc

lol. well there simple and complex carbs. the complex ones are the ones you want to calm down on after your midday dinner.
these are potatoes, rice, pasta, and lay off the bread. so to some a quick diet up.lol simples a re bananas etc

morning, on non run days. porridge? will give you the full up feeling so you wont snack.
on run days- maybe some weetabix soon as you get up, get ready for run and when get back have some scrambled eggs on bread after. 3 or four eggs. could use just 2 yolks.

lunch- could be chicken sandwiches or similar, ham chees etc. bake potato, pasta dishes etc banana.1 or 2 yogurt

dinner- tuna, chicken salad etc

replace pop with water. you could may have a a pack a crisps here and there. little treat, depends how far you take it like. ill add if ive missed anything.

a good start? Guessing your not much of a fruit guy? Also yea the drinking cant

Not sure what to have for tea yet. Going to pass off the booze till the 15th of June and quit smoking for good.

Don't have to cut out fizzy drinks. Go sugar free, I.E diet coke.

In the mornings eat more. For example eat Muesli for Breakfast, lunch have a baguette or something but at dinner time you could try eat a salad or fruit salad.

It's when you eat too much at night your body doesn't have time to burn it off and you put on weight.

Exercise -- Join up to a Gym for a month, that's what I've just done. About £3.00/day, 3 times a week, £45.00 for the 5 weeks. Give up Beer for that time and you will have the money for the Gym (and most likely more) and be sorted.

Burn say 600 800 calories at the Gym (About an hour and half on Tredmill and other devices) a day and you'll be on your way.

loose weight. Its just down to exercise too. Obviously cutting out fizzy pop is a
good thing though bud.

Not that I was admiring you in the Germany pics lol, but I think you have a decent
build! Would rather be like that an a lampost mate. Think its a bit of excercise
you need.

Sorry for going off on a tangent, just my thoughts.

You need to look at it this way. Ideally (I think this is right) men should get 2500 calories in them a day. If you under take that you're effectively going to loose weight as your body will use your fat cells instead of the calorie in take. The thing is, too much under that in take and exercise can bring you down.

What I am trying to do is get no more than 2000 calories a day and then exercise 3 times a week. Probably burning off 800 calories every other day. So 3 days a week I will only have had an intake of 1200 out of the 2500 calories -- this is when you'll start seeing a decrease in your body weight, over time.

Also, try to remember, if you're toning up, muscle weighs more than fat so if you start getting heavier after working out a lot that's most likely the reason why.

Also, like I said before. If you enjoy fizzy drinks you don't need to cut them out entirely. You just need to lower the amount you drink or have diet coke instead. Something like 2 calories a can. That's useful.

Your perception of yourself is always different to others. It's your mind adding 10 pounds on because you want to think you're over weight. You may not be as bad as you think you are.

Something I can recommend to you if you really do want to loose weight in 5 weeks. They work, I've used them before, you can get them off Ebay for £30.00 for 7 weeks course.

They're known as Slimb Bomb. They're blue tablets which increase your metabolism, supress your hunger (Very well) and burn away fat cells.

You know they're working when you start peeing yellow to green pee. Aparently they're your fat cells.

I was on them 2 years back and they do increase your metabolism, suppress your hunger and burn away Fat cells. I used them when I was a little overweight and within those 7 weeks I was back down to how I was.

The bonus is you also have to drink lots and lots of water to make them work, the benefit to that is it gets rid of toxins in your body as well and helps get rid of fat.

Just a recommendation.

Gym is long ting. none of my mates go so no partner, all the gyms in wakefield are £40+ and fuck paying that for it.


My diet and drinking is fucked. im honest. I think eating healthy will hopefully drop it off me.

So Since monday iv been watching what i eat.

Havnt had anything bad yet. Havnt snacked on usual rubbish and only drank water or ribena.

Having cut out the lovely 2lt(ish) of coke i normally drink a day and the normal bullshit i used to eat i feel better for it, I dont feel 'as big' if you get me. No where near as bloated and that.

My weght used to bounch between 14st and 14 and a half stone through the weekend depending how and what i was doing....


Now its staying down at 14stone and should hopefully be able to break into the 13stone soon....

Its only little im losing at the moment but all iv done is cut out the shit from my diet and eating a healthy dinner (around 5.30ish)

normally when i get outa the shower and just boxers. I weighed myself a few times about 2 weeks ago. was 14 and half stone.

now im at 14 stone. Just eating healthy. No shit, no shacking and no fizzy pop.

only been to the gym a few times too because of the trapped nerve in my shoulder. thats feeling nearly back to normal today so guna hit the gym hard for a couple of week and hopefully see more weight loss.
