just ordered a piper backbox, 3.5" inward rolled mild steel! on a rank of 1 to 10 how loud you think it will be? 10 being loudest!

5 id say. Will be loud for a bacbox mate, piper are known for bein a bit lairy. But it wont be very very loud cus youve still got a cat

will it be louder straight after fitting or will it take a few weeks to bed in like the sutt to build up on the inside? when i fitted my peco to my corsa it was realy quiet for the first few months then it got loud!

it will change the sound straight away but will get better the more its used

ive got a piper BB and supersprint decat and its very loud! after bout a month did get noticably louder and pops alot too

Most exhausts take a few hundred miles for the baffles to wear in and the sound will go up alittle.

For best results fit the back box with a straight through centre section, upto you if you deCat - remember it will have to go back for MoT time. Personally I couldnt be bothered I just bought a sports cat, not sure if it makes much of a difference or not to be honest but at least I havent gota muck about refitting a cat for MoT time
