Hey peeps,
I was looking to buy a vts but the insurance is abit of a jump up so now im looking at vtr's, i was wondering about the gearing i know the vtr box is longer than the vts/s1 rallye/xsi boxes so what box would suit the vtr best? and which ones would you go for over price, easy to source against others? and what sort of difference are they likely to make?
Sorry if this question gets asked alot but all the threads i search go well off topic within a few posts! cheers peeps!:y:

i'm not sure i've put a taller box on my vts it picks up better to 130 in 4. and loads better on fuel. depends what you want. if its acceleration your after something like a 1.4 box would help

a 1.4 box wont have sports ratios so it wont really. only may notice slight difference in 1st/2nd but minimal.

if you do motorway milage you dont want the final drive sports boxes to be mad

eg s1 rallye/1.4xsi.

if your after them theyre hard to find. a vts box is a very good compramise.
