Im looking for an exhaust for my vts that will give me more power and a good rasp and backfire but one that wont kill my fuel economy! I was thinking of a manifold back with the cat left on or just a cat back. any ideas would be a big help.
Thanks,
Phil

ive just had a full scorpion s/s system fitted to my vts engined vtr with de-cat pipe and supersprint 4-2-1 manifold.its given a noticable power increase and has a nice rasp and gives out a load a pops!the tailpipe is scorpions 5" suzuka jap style pipe!

I was just thinking, i had a 106gti with a full stainless dec-cat janspeed, loved it so much. it was a lovely noise. I get about 250miles to a tank on the vts, if i were to get a de-cat stainless with a 4-1 branch, how many miles to a tank would i be getting roughly.
@Dan: How many miles are you getting to a tank?

well at the moment not many as the conversion needs a few more tweeks to have best mpg as the vts has a fuel return line and the vtr didnt so at the mo its overfuelling as havnt put the return on yet!i aint using it alot to be honest until its finally finished.
also it depends how u drive it!i wouldnt a thought u get any less than 250 per tank!

if you want ultimate performance get the GMC BTB exhaust system
if not then get magnex or scorpion systems and full economy is only greatly affected by a heavy foot smileys/smiley2.gif
