could any one enlighten me to what the box thing at the bottom of the airbox is for?? I cant really explain it any better, Was thinking of taking it out and putting another cold feed into it, It Fell off once and i spent a week without it so it cant be that important,

also my mates mk2 2000 VTR has a round type airbox, My 2003 VTR has a flat panel type airbox and im struggling to find a panel filter ot go in it, all i can find are round ones.

Just had a look and it is before the filter, might try and put a cold feed to it,

Any one know where I can get a panel filter from, I can only find round ones, Wonder would a VTS one fit??

Well I sacked the box off and added another air feed to the front splitter, As for the air filter K&N have a 2003 VTR down as the same part number as the VTS so Ive ordered a Pipercross Panel filter ( VTS )

yeah the resinator box,

Their is no noise now the 2nd feed is on, when the box was off and there was no feed it was loud as feck, very slugish as well,

feels a little more free to rev mid range with the 2nd feed on, may just be in my head though, its very slight

so you took risinator box off? and put another cold feed to it?

well I didnt exactly take it off, it snapped off and i was having trouble sticking it back on, so i put another feed to it instead, was gonna just block the whole up but the 2nd feed must do it more good, There will be a pipercross panel filter going in there next week
