just seen this on ebay... i need to replace my whole exhaust system on my 2002 VTS so this may be a good starting point??? ive got an ashley full system de-cat backwards but it wont fit even tho it used to be on a mk1 vts... reason being the middle section and back box when connected dont fit round the rear axle so the back box wont go on the fittings... but anyway heres the link to ebay .......... any good????

Agree with bullit
have a look on www.kam-racing.com and have a look at their prices first. Dont forget to budget for a new Manifold gasket under £5 from main dealer :y:
The decat you already have will probally be able to be used. Any of the leading top four sports exhausts Magnex/Janspeed/Piper/Scorpion will be a good replacement for the Ashley system. All four depending on tailpipe option will be around the £250+ mark
Check out both www.performancecentre.co.uk and www.motorsportworld.co.uk for good prices :y:

that de-cat looks like a magnex a friend had on his vtr, complete bollox to get a good seal and most of the time we didnt get one it always blew out

ye i used to have a magnex de-cat on ma vtr and even with a full magnex system still blew a bit... its just annoyin having a full system sitting in the bk yard and it not quite fitting, probs av to take it to a garage and get them to do some cheeky weldin... if i was to get a aftermarket manifold how likely is it that it would fit this ashley system ive got in da yard, would it depend on the manifold make or dont it mata how much u mix the different parts...?

its starts at the de-cat then centre section then backbox... so no manifold hence i was askin about aftermarket manifold fitments to the ashley decat... if i take it to a garage and they cant get the current ashley system fitted i will sell it... if interested ask for details etc. saaaaaaaafe lol.

oh and does anyone know if there is a difference between a mk1 vts and mk2 vts in regards to exhuast and fitting... the only problem wiv the ashley system is it seems to need some sort of bend under the rear axle even tho wen put next to the standard system it luks exactly same... weird...
