right, i've got a 1.4 MK1 westy, so far engine wise i've done:

induction kit, its not an enclosed and i know they are better. but the cold air feed to mine is excellent!

4-2-1 and a supersprint center section then a peco BB

i've been reading about throttle bodies, would that be compatable with what i've done so far??

i dont want to spend too much more as i'm looking to get myself a VTS in the nearish future.

thanks, joe.

ooooook then.

throttle bodies on a 1.4 paxo.... speak to the user they call 'foggy'. but if you're upgrading then the cost for such a mod is probably not worth the expenditure.

If don't want to spend much then i wouldn't bother with throttle bodies tbh, not much more you can do without spending serious money.

Save for a vts :P

put a vts engine in and then put throttle bodies on that. roughly a vts engine will cost £500 to £1k to get and get it running unless you do all the work yourself. then throttle bodies can cost anything up to £2k plus a remap but the results are stunning. GOD106GTI is selling his 106 GTI thats got throttle bodies and it was running 152bhp at the wheels last time i spoke to him

keep saving for that VTS is my advice.

the more money you save now the better example of a vts you could buy.

Did you notice much gains with your 42-1 manifold? I'm looking at getting one for my 1.25 zetec but not sure if i should with a small engine

I'd leave the engine mods for now until you can afford to drop in something with a bigger capacity.
Look at suspension now and making the car going around corners better...

yeah mate, i thought it made quite a big difference. not overly expensive either. you should definately consider getting one.
