just popped bonnet to start cleang and noticed all this oil, is it something major or nothing to worry about.

looks like rocker cover gasket has been leaking for a while:y:

yup rocker cover gasket just leaking by the look of it

ur oil level dropping fast or not?

just clean it first then take it for a drive and see exactly where it is coming from :y:

ive got the same thing

nothing to worry about
when you clean it off youll see it takes ages for oil to appear

mine comes from my oil cap

oil level seems to be holding well not noticed a drop in level,just ow much a head gasket then? but will do your suggestion as well pred.

the gasket is a liquid gasket, so scrape the old stuff off and use whatever liquid gasket citroen suggest :y:

Its the oil filler cap, mines exactly the same as that. If you wash it all off and keep checking daily you will see its that. Also when you take the cap off you can see a ring of oil :y:

actually the grit in the oil is just road dirt so wouldnt worry about that, just a good clean and a drive then you can source where it is coming from but its most probablies the rocers, if it was the head youd be losing a lot of pressure and the car wouldnt be running that well

don't get mixed up between the head gasket and the cam cover gasket as the head gasket will cost you alot more when you don't need it it's the cam cover gasket you need bud
