Depends what you are looking for from it?
performance, looks or sound?
for performance and sound you are best going for an OMP Group N system,
if you don't mind too much about the sound but want a mixture of looks/performance then take a look at Magnex.
But as a comprimise for all 3, have a look at peco
Hope that helps,

yeah cheers, im looking for good gains but i dont want it to be unbelivible loud n shoud i keep the centre silencer or get rid of it?
I wudnt realy say magnex is number one for looks, a bit large, but it carnt be beaten for sound. most impressive defiently.
yeah i like the sound of magnex how much roughly will it all cost manifold decat n back box?
magnex dont make manifolds
will different make manifolds match up to it?? or is it a lot of hassel matching it up? ive found a full miltek system for 485 is this good or not? are miltek good?
Had longlife CAT back system fitted to my VTR last wee. Whole system cost £290. Looks & sounds sweet. Not stupidly loud.
all exhausts./manifolds should have the flanges made to fit on the saxo/saxo exhaust so interchanging shouldnt be a problem.
the best exhaust is different for a different engine.. a BTB is designed to run on a supercharged 16v engine so doesnt mean it will be good on a 1.1.
choose something you like the style of, as the differences between perfromance on a standard engine are minimal

There is as of yet, No single best exhaust that has been proven to be better than any other - Somepeople wont agree with that but thats the truth.
Any one of the leading sports exhaust brands ie Magnex/Janspeed/Piper/Mongoose/Scorpion will perform about the same give or take a pony or two.
All of the above systems are a twin box design (centre box and back box) amd will be cat backwards from between £220-£300+ depending on what system, what tailpipe option and where you buy it from.
Removing the cat and fitting a deCat pipe will increase performance but dont forget that your need it back for MoT time!
Changing the manifold will see the biggest gains. Look on www.kam-racing.com for good prices on RaceLand 4-2-1 Stainless Steel items which are very good value for money and good performers for the money.
Be sure to check if your cat is under the car ie an earlier VTR's or in the manifold itself ie later VTR's.
At the end of the day I alwasy say an exhaust is as much a styling item as much as it is a performance item so just pick which ever YOU think looks the best and will suit the styling of your car the best :y:
