thats what i thought, thought it could be ok as no metal parts so shouldn't heat up, and its got cold air feed, but tried and tested ones are a safer bet i must admit.

what would you say to go for? bmc or the kamracing one with a green filter?

just a quick note though Raceland are out of stock of the Saxo kit and I cannot be restocked for 3 weeks.
Just personal preference though but the BMC is a very well made piece of kit. If my budget would stretch I would get that.. if only because I'm a sucker for real carbon

Agree, if you have the bigger budget then by the best you can afford but . . . .
If your pockets are not as deep as others and you are not stuck on brands I personally see nothing wrong with universal fitting items as long as you get the correct sized collar/tube/fitting kit and install it correctly then you should be ok.
Alot of people get stuck up on certain brands, which is fine if you have the funds to be able to afford the best of the best. If not do your homework and take a risk.
After all RaceLand items are badly designed as you have to move the power steering bottle and the filter supplied isnt brilliant butKam can upgrade the internal cone to a Green item and the bottle is easly moved - People tend to look past this fact :rage: People have selective opuions and should be so quick to disscount items they know nothing about.
Rant over

only thing i'd be concerned about is the quality of the filter with these budget brands - a part that IMO is the most important bit
