Hi all,
Looking for a nice full exhaust system, straight through, from manifold to back box, if it's possible for a 1.1, am I best getting a custom one?
Cheers in advance :y:

yea one of my mates had a custom one, he was asked how he wanted it to sound and exsactly what he wanted, though his 1.1 as mine is has a straight through system allready, just added a different back box, sounds and looks awsome IMO

Not wanting anything chavvy, just something that looks like a magnex backbox, and a nice tone and more response

well myself i would get a decat pipe and just put a piper backbox on then
Just hacksaw your exhaust off and get a 40 quid backbox on ebay and get that welded/clamped on.
Cheapest method imo.

Anything is possible when you go custom.
For a small cc engine Id wouldnt go too silly with huge tailpipes and large bore pipework as you will want to keep some kinda back pressure in the system or your be lossing performance more than adding it.
Best layout to go for is,
Cat - Striaght through centre - Back box
Your want to keep the cat as your need it for your MoT plus it will act as a box to keep back pressue in the system. As for back box types try and keep the box to a decent size, dont go too silly with a huge 5' tailpipe as again it wont be best for performance and it will lokk silly on a flat arched saxo. Best bet is to go for something between 2.5'-4' as this will again be best for looks, performance and volume.
