Hi i want to get a new performance air filter for my saxo VTR. i heard from people that i shud have a enclosed airfilter!!!! where do i buy one! or how shud i build it? They say if the airfilter is exposed to the heat in the engine it will hamper my performance! please help

Yep you should get an enclosed air filter. BMC, Green or Procomp are the kiddies. If you just stick on an open k&n type cone filter then the hot air from the engine will be sucked in, hampering performance.

buy something that will lead the cold air forward inside...searce with patience and try to find an enclosed air filter made from material that is not get warmed easily...like carbon...
