was reading the other day that it is suggested that you change your cambelt when your saxo's between 60 and 70k.

do you need to change anything else? tensioners?

any idea on part prices?

cheers

Yeah, it's advisory to change it at 75k.

I'd do it every 4 years though if mileage is low etc. Not sure how much the tensioners are, I know a thread like this was done a while ago.

i personally change my belts and tensioners every 40k but then i am a mechanic so it only costs me the price of the parts (trade price ;) ). idealy it would be good to renew the tensioner and idler if you can afford it but its not essential obviously inspect them when changing the timing belt. furio parts should be cheap where as the vts cambelt is £38 then the idler and tensioner is £68 so jsut for vts parts its £106 but like i say furio should be alot cheaper
