De cat A

De cat B

A seems to be the most common one, it replaces the cat. But B replaces the middle box as well as the cat (on a standard exhaust) ??
If so which is better? is B replacing the middle box for sound reasons or power?
Whats the difference? I can only think B is designed more for sound than power due to replacing the middle box?
:panic:
"B" looks a little slim. Do you know the bore size?
Obviously "B" will have potential to be louder due to not having any sound deadening.

DONT get the supersprint then LOL
I got one, and my god its loud!!!!
ah ok. so to answer my question the supersprint is designed for loudness over power
Not exactly mate.
Exhuasts don't create power...
well, release some restricted power then lol. you know what i mean (im a noob)
Well that's pretty much it, yeah mate.
If you needed a less restrictive exhaust system, you would go for one with a bigger bore size. The fact that that one is louder, doesn't mean that it's sacraficing power if you know what I mean? ...You could just make one a tad bigger in bore and have some sound protection.
I think your car would sound a bit like a motorbike with that thing on, hehe.
yeh lol, i think i'll go for A
Hehe, good choice. Remember, car not legal for road use with "A" installed. ...Or "B" for that matter...
thought you said it wasnt legal then
ah well i'll take the risk i think
MOT is the toughy. They're getting smarter nowadays...
