Looking at getting some wosener group a pistons for my saxo, anybody else used these? It will raise the compression ratio to 12.2:1 so it should make quite a difference? But will i need to get the map adjusted on my standalone?

alot of diff people have used wosener pistons, come very highly recomended, id get a slight tweak on the map tbh, and some headwork done now if youve not done so allready.

12.2:1 Wow. What kind of fuel you are going to use? This is very high compression for road car. You can't drive it with regular fuel. For this CR you will need 110 octane fuel.

Well the head is already done, and its got 708's nd 40mm jenveys if you didnt already know!!
The plan was to run these and then go 803's or 809's cos i would have the clearance to run larger cams... Pistons look good and im gona get them for a good price ;)

Yeh im familiar with the spec, hes running 803's... Yeh rods are expensive but it may just got with arp bolts! Can i run forgies with standard rods and bolts? With 803 or 9's should easily see 180bhp!!

have known of people running forgies yet retain std rods. the bolts i would guess would be the same although im not 100% there.
if your running 803s i wouldnt expect easy 180bhp.
ians got the big valve head, and genuine DTH bodies with a pugsport manifold. The DTH bodies are slightly better than the jenveys, you should get good power but i wouldnt say its easy.

Yeh i know dude!! But well have to see how it goes, and wot money comes my way! Might consider 809's but then would need rod bolts and solid lifters as it will need to be reving to 8.5-9k!
