Hello all,

A question I'd like to ask:
About a month ago I've had a custom full stainless exhaust system fitted on my 1.6 16v

I already had a decat-pipe with a diameter of 2,5"

Assuming to the company which made me the system a 2" pipe from the decat-pipe to bumper would do the job just right.

I opted for a left/right exit with no mid-silencer, just one at the back

They told me I only needed a 2,5" system when I fitted a turbo, (which I won't)

But if I'd like too get say, a head-job, a dastek-chip and some cams in the future, wouldn't the system be too narrow?

what's the ideal diam. for this set-up?

its even a bit too much, for turbo conversion its perfect but you would do fine with 2.0"

hoe about in higher rpm was the tork higher in with the 60mm?

how much degrees did you play with the inlet cam ?

no i felt no difference in higher rpm with the 60mm or 55mm just in lower rpm
i've adjusted the inlet cam so it comes in earlier with the standard poeli to the max of adjustment got 8nm with it!
