Need help on which induction kit to go for, i had a pipercross in it but took that out to try my m8's BMC which is far better. Which is the best induction kit to go for?
Cheers

To be honest all they do is make noise, you will be lucky to see 1-2bhp of the good ones.. some induction kits actually loose you power. I got a BMC and i'm happy with it. It's all down to personal preferance.

Have a read of the 'Big Induction thread' just click on the Blue 'Big Induction Thread' link under my signature, have a read of whats what then post any questions in this thread afterwards.
There are so many different types of induction style kits for the Saxo, it best to understand whats available before parting with your cash :y:

Alot will depend on budget really.
The general rule with induction kits is . . .
Open - Noise
Enclosed - Performance
But with all things performance its more to do with the way the filter in question is installed. Take alook at the RaceLand & Green scopp

I have a Green at present and have had a Cone in the past, now the scoop is feed through 2 tiny holes in the slam panel now I still reckon imo (and I know alot of people will dissagree) but I think a decent open cone filter placed behind the passanger side headlight with a good cold air feed and heat shield will perform almost 80%-90% aswell as a enclosed filter, but for all the messing about and extra cost of cold air feeds, extra pipework and heat shield you might aswell have the RaceLand item.
Look to www.kam-racing.com for RaceLand items, there are so many theroys and opuions on what filter is best but the most well proven design is the scoop design imo but is highly restricted by the slam panel

The raceland also gives a nice sound as well tho, reminds me of the v6 vectra's when they go lol.

The RaceLand must sound different to the Green as I wished my S sounded like a V6
Have you got the Green cone in your RaceLand?

no theres not. as said unless camming in. depends how much you wanna spend. you could do running mods and could go for a cheaper superchip. unlees you mean chip as chip and remap are different things
i have cammed, headed vts
