Right ive just went and got my Supersprint Center Pipe fitted....sounds nice but the bloke said i need a new manifold cos its blowing......so thats next on my list along with a back box
Anyway what i wanted to no is on the center pipe there a bolt that can be undone prob for a sensor.....but im wondering if i took it out and had the hole there wud it make any diff in sound etc?

where on the manifold is it blowing?

It would probably sound like ur exhaust is blowing and most likely have water coming out of it. I Suggest you leave it well alone.

By removing the bolt and not blocking it up with something you will be causing power loss and basically causing your exhaust to blow. So either leave the bolt there or put the sensor in:y:

yeah, it would make a massive difference in sound, it would be loads louder
but:
1. it will fail MOT like that
2. you will loose loads of power
3. it will sound like a tractor
personally i wouldn't do it mate!

If your going to replace a manifold thats "Blowing"
why would you want to make your exhaust "blow" too?

i was just wondering.......as for the manifold its blowing on this to welded plate bits that come down from the manifold pipe after the cat.....its hard to explain really.....but tommorrow wen its drier hopefully ill take a pic and show u......
