Parkers are innacurate!

has anyone gone over the 127mph stated by them?

- I don't support driving over the speed limit ofcouse ;) or any idiot who wants to go and and find out...... ofcourse.

i've had 127mph in my VTR on the clocks on a RR, but it was only doing 114mph so theres a good example of how inaccurate the clocks really are!

yer mine said a lil faster then yours leo but it didnt feal like that ive been near 140 in other cars and they did seem faster but i dunno lol wouldnt want to be caught at tht speed so ill just stick to 0-60 times lol :P

If you didnt like the sound of the subject dont enter? and especially dont waste your precious time contributing...what a silly thing to do.

I was more interested in a curious sort of way- not a boy racer twat sort of way.

Oh and thanks to all those people who actually did answer the question!

my dad has a fusion camera detector in his car and has hit "142mph" according to clock however fusion read 137mph..

i surpose everything is different try and buy a satilite speed to find out how fast you can do and how accurate your dial is.

i wis quite suprised how it handled goin so fast sayin that the dual carriage way i wis on wis fairly straight.like you say its not big or clever til be doin this if i had a blow out or someone had pulled out,id o got a quick closer look at the scenery before lights out:fcuk:

I once did a bloody stupid thing- and i dont usually drive like a dick- i got in a 54 plate M3 convertible and went upto 152mph on the A19 (dual carriageway) up here in north yorkshire.

Was fun... one to tell the grandchildren- had my fun, not again.......this year. no no.

Not bragin but I might have been over the ton mark once or twice but to be truthly honest I get NO pleasure out of driving fast in a straight line as the last time I done it my passangers side inner arch guard fell out and made a right mess of it as it got stuck under the car

I stop at 80mph might do 90mph if I overtake somebody but I find it very uncomfortable over 80mph as I stripped out and the noise can get abit much ;)

Gota admit there is alot of bragin rights in threads like this and really shouldnt condone people driving over the magic ton mark on public roads as most peoples tallents arent upto driving at them kind of speeds regardless whether the car is

lol @ everyone having crap speedos!

mines dead on, maybe its because of the low mileage or something but its bang on!

Theres too many factors to think about when going over 100;

A Puncture, someone pulling out infront of you, something hitting the windscreen and shattering it, brake failure, side winds, random potholes, subsidence...........

choose life
