after doing my conversion, i used full vts car loom in the end, vts dash and clocks, using the VTR fuel tank and VTR fuel pump

red light came on yesterday drove it till it looked that low i thoguht it wud jus run out so feeling rich i thought id fill the tank, filled it up £24.50 thought whats going on it was empty obviously not, tryed to get more fuel in wasnt having it deffinatly full got back in the car guage is only reading 3/4 of a tank whats going on? any1 else had this trouble? do you think if i use the vts fuel pump then it will display the correct level as arnt the fuel level senders contained in the pump?

any1 got any ideas ?

cheers

probs because the vts tank is bigger, so itll read the amount of fuel in the car as if it was in a vts tank, which holds more normally.
wouldnt a vts pump be better anyways as itll push more fuel around quicker?

vtr and vts have the same capacity fuel tank. either the sender in the tank is buggered or the gauge has had it.

ah i thought the vts had a bigger one because it used more fuel etc..

is the sender in the tank tho or is it part of the fuel pump? im guessing the gauge is fucked cuz it was fine with my vtr clocks in and nothing has changed fuel tank/pump wise
