Hi there
Right i know you can map a boosted TU engine with a injector module with the Dastek but that still means extra injector/s.
So why not map the car on 4 uprated injectors which would be better or cant this been done?
What do ppl think or know?

Is the fuel rail able to handle uprated injectors? I thought thats why nearly all the conversions on saxos have a fifth injector, because its not able to supply enough to the bigger injectors, or are you using uprated injectors with your conversion and provin me wrong?

You could use 4 uprated injectors but it makes the job less straight forward if you are retaining the std ECU.
You'd have to remap all of the off boost fuelling as well as the on boost, as the fuel flow through the injector will be different at all instances.
The simplest solution is not to use a Dastek and to use an MF2 instead. This way you dont need a laptop, etc to adjust the map. Also, if you get the fuelling right you wont need to use the dasttek to alter the timing.
This is a very simple answer as this topic could be very complex smileys/smiley17.gif

But it would be easier to use a fifth injector and MF2 and not to go near the other injectors, that way you could keep the std ECU? Also to simo, how is the oil fed to and from your turbo and did you have to modify the sump?
