looks like the offspringe of a scoop an BMC mating. enclosed induction inbreeding equals retardation, looks abit weird mate

I dont think it will fit!
I've been wanting to do this for ages.
I saw a 106 yesterday at FCS. He was replacing his BMC with a scoop type. he showed me that the two wouln't fit together!

i dont get why its such a great idea.
when a green enclosed does the same job, it filters the air well etc...
just seems like an idea of wasting money

I'm not an expert but wouldn't the ram air effect be greater at higher speeds?
please dont slate me - i'm still learning!

but the green does this allready. you dont need a bmc attached on it aswell
why do you need to add a second airbox?
it just complicates the system, and is a waste of money.

I already own a bmc.
I think the scoop without a filter in it, attatched to the front of the bmc would work well.
you disagree?

a scoop is a good idea.
but i personally would just sell the bmc and buy a scoop in the first place. (as you are going to be buying the green/raceland to get the scoop)
much cheaper and more sensible option.

so you rate the green with a scoop higher than a bmc?
Ryan

the green/raceland is a scoop set up.
much prefer it to bmc.
bmc is a very good set up. but if you are saying you want a scoop why buy a scoop and use it on a bmc? as its just a very expensive induction kit that would do the job the same as a std green.

the Green filters are maginally better than the BMC ones... just to throw something else in
