right first am kinda new to site so don't shout if it is wrong place/already been answered.
i am looking to get a forced air induction kit for my car in a few weeks to tidy up my open air filter, if i was to buy this (http://www.kam-racing.com/product_info.php/manufacturers_id/24/products_id/661) what kind of filter am i looking to place inside the enclosure as my understanding of this is that i place a filter inside the smaller end of the "funnel" shaped compartment of the enclosed filter? is that correct if so what filter is recommended?

second question is i am looking to buy a quick shift for my car to make gear changes feel just that little bit less "sloppy" and slightly firmer and quicker. but i heard this puts extra strain on the gear syncro? if it is true is it noticeable as i had a re conned gearbox placed on my motor about 3 months ago?

any help is greatly appriciated

many thanks
Bill

I've moved it to the correct section for you mate! :y:

in answer to your first question mate, That raceland is a good induction kit for the price you pay, and is definately recommended. however i would replace the filter inside with a green filter! ;)

never heard of the quickshift causing the syncromesh to fail, as long as you know how to use the clutch properly ie don't grind your gearchanges then you'll be fine. as S34mer says, buy the raceland filter from ebay, then replace the small filter inside with one from the KamRacing website (KamRacing is a member on here, you could pm him for details ;) ).
