my opinion would be dont go for a universal induction kit mate. My cars just failed its MOT on the Emmissions and they think one of the reasons is because i had a universal induction kit on the end of the throttle body and it was taking in way too much air, more than its supposed to. It doesnt make any difference as far as how your car runs tbh, just if u do get one make sure u take it off and use the standard one when it comes round to its MOT.

tar guys this might sound daft but i dnt know anything bout engines i just want the basics lol. soo would i need a cold air feed running to the induction kit and a breather and just get rid of the airflow meter then mate and what would i doo with the pipe running from the manifold tar mate

If you sorted us out with postage we could send you a few Raceland cone filters . Stick that on the end of some universal hose and you'd have a cost effective open filter. Just make sure it has a good air supply as it wouldn't be the best for performance

I had a universal open cone on my corsa when i put it in for its MOT and it went straight through

yea sure mate how much u thinking. i was going to stich some hose on the throttle body then tie it down to the engine some how and then i would have got a cold air feed from somwhere to lead directly to the cone is that ok.

Take out the box circled in red, fit the kit where the blue arrow is, and leave the curvy piping you can see near the slam panel at the front of the engine bay in place to get cold air to the cone mate

what about the other smaller pipe which is attached to the box? doesnt that need to be in place on something?

You either;
- Feed it back into the induction tubing through a hole
- Buy a 'breather filter' which is like a very small K&N from a motor factors, halfrauds etc
- Get an Oil Catch Tank, search ebay and threads on here if you dont know what they are
