i am currently using a decompression plate on my vtr to lower the compression, the problem now is that it is on its way out and also found it very very thick - about 3 times thicker than my original gasket. :n:

the question is what head gasket shall i use. i phoned carworx and they said that a single 1.9mm head gasket will be fine. what do you guys think?
if i was to buy two head gaskets, what thickness should they be.
cheers in advance:y:

basicly if u put a headgasket on instead of the compression plate it will be fine but you will probably have to lower the boost pressure you are running as the compression will be higher with the headgasket rahter then the compression plate.

I would never recommend 2 headgaskets, but good luck!!
