went most places to look around for a nice air filter, was looking at finding a k and n or a green one, most people said they have to be ordered specially and were rather expensive, so as a last resort on my way home went into my local halfords, had a look around and found this green cotton twister one, on offer at £46.64, hmmm bit cheap as i thought they were usually about 100 quid, so spoke to the guy turns out it was a speical order for someone but they just hadnt botherd to pick it up so it was goin cheap. so i took the oppurtunity it was still sealed up in its packaging aswell.

knew this wouldn't be a straight fit though and id require a nice cold air feed to place into the front of the filter aswell and a bracket to hold the filter in place but sure i can sort this out?, but first of all had to get the right reducers im sure i have the right one, ive bout a 60 mm one, as the throttle bodie on the 1.4 saxo sx 97 is apparently about that? so can someone tell me if i have the right one?
i also came across a nice bit of alu tubing with a 90 degree bend, which im going to try and use, i may have to cut it down a bit but shud look nice wen its done. annoying thing is though is i cant try it all out as i dont get the car till saturday.

do i need anything else or do you recon this should fit ok? thanks for any help. by the way here are some pics

has anyone tried a green twister before and also

As long as you get the link between the pipe and the throttle body thats all there is to worry about, oh dont forget a engine breather.

Looks like a bargin you might find you need something to support the weight of the filter and pipe but a strip of metal bent into a L shape with maybe a hole at the top where a cable tie can be threaded through and then clip'd around the pipe to support it and the cones weight.

But that really is it.

yeah i was wondering about that as i looked at most other kits and they have hole for that hose that has like a t junction on mine is that just a breather hose? ive heard its best to seperate that from the intake? as it is only an oil breather hose. is iot best to get a k and n one or just a cheap one will do?
