No mate would have to be a Ashley one

As Ashleys exhausts aint OE fit

You have to get all the inter changing sections from Ashley;)

If it is cat back system then it would have to fit a magnex decat.Otherwise how would it join to the cat in the first place? As the magnex and the cat are exactly the same fittings size and everything.

So id say yes.

I disagree

Tried that on my vts would work

All the sections slide into each other this is why they are different

Thet dont list one for a vts you have to request a 106 gti one exactly the same dont know why they dont list it

Sounds like it would be a right hassle when it comes to MOT time as you cant just put the cat back in you would have to replace the whole system.

Actually now i come to think about it you do get a metal bracket in the kit which slides into the middle section and then joins the car with a flange

So sorry i was alittle wrong you can

But but the decat anyway lol:p

ooook a little confusing...

ive got a furio 2001 plate.

so an ashley cat back system WOULD fit a magnex decat section? providing theres a metal bracket?

2001 you say eh where is your cat?? under the car or in the manifold?

craigy_87

if the cat is in the manifold you'll need to buy a new manifold to decat
an if its under the car i dunno if this is possible but if you buy the full system for the car with cat in manifold that system is from manifold back this would decat yours

also just wondering do you get much popping from a cat back system?

ive heard the exhaust pops quite abit when its had a decat but that isnt an option now.

and is there a difference between a cat back system and straight through system???

if i was to buy a raceland manifold and fit a cat back system, would this mean there is no cat being as it was in the manifold?
