crappy i kno lol but wot would be the best thing to replace the restrictive bit of tubing? (circled) or should i replace the whole lot wiv better piping

Its probably not really worth it tbh.
But PM Kamracing, he might be able to give you some advice and also sort you out with some tubing if you still want to.

I'd get a single length of silicon hose , replacing that accordian style bit at the front and the restrictor pipe.

there is a seller on ebay that does good prices on loads of silicon hosing at good prices. i've bought some off him before and it was spot on! i'll find his shop for you . . .

another question for anyone who knows lol what size bore would fit the original filter housing! theres a few out there i just dont know which 1 would fit right !!

LMAO yh i thought that would have to be the case! not u knowin obvs lol me avin to go out wiv a measurin tape lol and in response to ur uva point yh il put sum pics up nd let u kno if it makes a difference to sound or performance! if it does wont be a lot tho! afterall it is only the standard 1!

there are a few people on here that wouldnt ever change their standard filter, they think that its the best form of getting cold air into the engine. but your right, you probably wont notice any performance increase in changing that part of the ducting.

im not doing it cz i rele wna keep my standard 1 lol im doin cz i cant be arsed to spend a lot of money haha although its probs cheapa 2 buy the whole induction kit in some cases! but they would be the shity induction kits tbf!! il let ya know if nefing gd comes of doin it apart from maybe a better lookin engine bay! LOL

mate the cold air feed side of that air box is 60mm - iv got the same one

id get the 63mm one from there^ and route it a different way to the standard pipe
iv got a green cotton air filter in the standard box and am getting one of those feeds soon :)

well i gess thats just sorted out that problem then lol 60mm it is!! so unless sumwhere theres a 60mm pipe il be gettin a 63mm from sumwhere! what sorta route is best for takin it to the standard pipe? nd is that green cotton filter itself any good? i didnt think it went stright in the original housing!
