Fuel management system, possible extra injectors, ideally intercooler, boost pipes, pistons or lowering of compression

its almost the same question as how long is a piece of string, without parameters in the question its very difficult to answer

what i was asking is do you have to rebuild the bottom end or up rate the berings or do you even need a new solid cranck. i want to get it done but my car must still be ok 4 evey day use and not break down. smileys/smiley17.gif

it depends, if you run low boost and have an intercooler you should be fine to run on standard pistons, when you start cranking the boost up you then have to start looking at maybe lowering the compression like simo, he is running 190bhp at the wheels by having ample cooling, correct fueling and a lower compression instead of forged pistons which are expensive
