OMPs are generally raspy.. at least the group N ones are

Smaller tailpipes generally give a more raspy note where as bigger tailpipes give a more throaty, boomy note.

Make sure your happy with such a small tailpipe as it can look alittle under-sized, I had a custom system made in the style of a Group N and alot of people arent so keen on it - Love it or Hate it kinda thing really.

Im the only person on here with an OMP grp N so listen to me lol.

loudish but raspy. Best exhaust ever and i can confirm that after having Magnex etc. Made 4.2 more bhp on the rollers than a magnex.

All Group N or Group N style exhausts are very different from your arravge off the shelf sports exhaust. As they are very small in appearance and in sound.

Performance is very good (so Ive been told and Im very happy with my custom system)

Put a request out in the photo & video section for GroupN style systems as 2" is very small tailpipe even for a Saxo and you have to be happy with the look before parting with your cash.

A GroupN exhaust is more at home on a strip'd out car than a big kit and big wheels, make sure it fits in with the rest of the cars styling :y:

most group Ns are designed to keep the noise below the max allowed of 98db and naturally perform as best as possible

Indeed they do.. I've always wanted to make my cars sound as close as possible to rally cars ever since my first motor (a pug 205 Gti)

decided to go with a janspeed backbox, instead of an omp one, connected it to my supersprint racing section, sounds excellent would recommend janspeed to anyone.
