Hi peeps.
Whats the sort of price you would class as a descent service price?
The garage i go to do a £80 service which is the basic one.
And a £140 where they check absoluteley everything and if it needs replacing they only charge you for the part and no labour.
Is that a fair price?

I paid 120,
Had all oils done, all filters replaced etc. He wanted to change my spark plugs but I have iridium ones in.. and I could not see him wanting to put 35 pound ones in instead lol

wel sounds pritty good m8 i no my garage charges 65 pound for a standard sevice so its not to bad but if ya know enough bout cars its cheaper to do it yourself onli cost me 22 pound to service my 1.1 myself lol

I pay about 120/130 always have a full service done about every 7 months.

do it yourself probablies cost you about 40 - 50 quid for the stuff :y:

I would do it myself normally but want to keep up the full service history in the book.

I pay around £60+ depending on what needs doing but last service i paid £70 for:
* Battery and alternator check
* Most of the car checked MOT stylee
* Engine/Gearbox oil changed
* Coolant drained and re-filled
* Spark plugs
* Oil and fuel filters
* Quick steam clean for the bay after :p

ahhhh right, see i just get my book stamped from where my mum works keeps the service history good :p
