group n style exhaust system-what to buy???

hi, im looking to buying a system for my 2002 model vtr cat on manifold style, i want a gmc 4-1 s/s mani but not to sure about the rest of the system. ideally i love the sound of theomp group n system but would like a different style of tailpipe as imo its flippin tiny.

any chance any1 could give me some advice on there opinion??

Some people will say that the gmc is not very good for a vtr as it has a large bore and will allow to much low.
Your not going to get a group n with a large bore then a omp. if you wat a group n style then get a custom system from a descent company. alot of people includin me like the outward rolled as it has a race style look to it. check my thread i have a 3"outward rolled piper.

you'll find that all the race ones have small tailpipes.. weight and performance are the priority over looks.

Supersprint make a great centre section which is nice... hmm make a top notch manifold as well while I'm thinking about it.
You could then fit a tailpipe of your choice

i suppose its down to the opinon of the owner, i havent seen an omp exhaust fitted clearly on a saxo so i wouldnt know how its looks,would a gmc mani work ok if i upgraded the camshaft.

the supersprint option is also another road to good down i suppose and then choose whatever style back box i prefed, i reckon the 3" outrolled look ace on saxos, my mate has a magnex system but in my opion soundwise its a bit of a let down, i love buzzy LOUD exhausts sad as it may sound lol

Kam do you know how long it will be till you have the center sections in?

yer i would get a centre section from kam but it says there in on 20th spet which is like pretty far away considering i wanted to have the car done for the 6th which is my 18th bday, i guess i will have to be pateint!

supersprint centre sections will be middle of the month I think. I had a massive back order with them and then they shut down for the summer before dispatching. Nevermind :homme:

They start back at work in a couple of days time so hopefully I'll get some stock sharpish.

Want some in as I'm hopefully going to convince the missus to get a sax as a shopping car. Will need a few mods ;)

say i wanted best performance also would the supersprint centre section with piper back box be the best, it seems to cheap to be true-120quid for the backbox and 70 for the centre pipe?

im looking at a mani back system custom to my spec for 190 quid surely ther will be a loss in performance in compariosn to paying 315 for an omp system off ebay?

which ever system you get you not goin to get a big improvement in performance. the group n will get more if any, will help with wieght saving though.
