Thanks for the comments.;)

Got some photo's of the bumper back on the car..

My favourite head unit ever! Had it for a long time actually but haven't had it up in here so.

I was in two minds about posting the emergency way into my car, but I don't know anyone off here and if anyone was wondering how its done to build their own, here you go.

If I ever attend a meet, don't break into my car! :homme:

Thats it for now, rear bumper and tailgate going on my car tomorrow then its in for a good clean inside and out and I'll post pictures when I get it back from spraying. Can't wait lol. :drink:

CHIP 23rd September 2009 18:59

Fair play mate. Your putting alot of effort into this :y:

citroen_saxo_vtr 23rd September 2009 19:18

you didnt fill the hole boot with filler? you should have welded a plate in it as after time that filler will crack mate. il hand it to you your doing a spot on job, your taking yor time and doing it the proper way not a rush job. i see a nice euro saxo at the end of this complete in style!

citroen_saxo_vtr 23rd September 2009 19:23

sorry didnt see that page so missed the plate in the boot. just found it. i love this thread! dont you worry incase it goes wrong and your not able to sort it?

Winny 24th September 2009 20:46

I don't worry about it lol, anything that goes wrong is repairable and the bigger bits of work I did such as the welding were done on second panels I grabbed from a scrapyard near me, ten quid for a rear bumper and a tailgate, bargain lol!

Small update, been helping strip my car and scotch/ wet & dry the paint whilst its in the bodyshop.

My tailgate came out ok.

As did the rear bumper, rivets on the fiberglass could do with a bit of work and another prime though. ;)

And while all the panels were off I has the rear arches chopped back so I can go lower with no problems!

A teaser of the colour based on a House of Kolor candy brown/gold flake, pictures don't do it justice though.

First bit of paint goes on tomorrow around the inside of the doors. :y::y:
