There on order mate. cat cams 708's what chip would be best suited to that or would the throttle bodies new management cater for that ?

bullit 15th June 2006 21:43

it will be a whole new ecu so yeah.
dont say chip, have a remap if not going tbs, otherwise if you are and your engines out, go for it.
ssc have got kms standolone group buy going now, have a read on there mate. 550 for a base map and you can buy your tbs at a later date.

to be honest i wouldn't go throttle bodies unless you're upgrading to wild cams and high comp pistons, which are really needed to get the most out of them. otherwise it's too much money for little relative gains imo.
while the engine is out i'd replace the oil pump, water pump, replace tappets, timing belt etc but it depends how far you want to go and how much you want to spend really.
