What engine?

Prunicycles 28th October 2012 20:24

1.1 my apologies

burgin2011 28th October 2012 20:26

most induction kits are 99% universal , but you may have to buy piping to got from you TB to your induction kit ,

The question you should be asking yourself is what are you hoping to gain out of an aftermarket air filter?

On a 1.1 engine, the best you can hope for is a little more noise. Even if you get the slightest performance gain, it will not be noticeable. Unless you are getting it free or its less than a tenner, I wouldn't personally be spending this on a 1.1.

burgin2011 29th October 2012 19:06

what he said ^^ waste of money

Prunicycles 29th October 2012 20:38

I have plenty of money to waste, i like noise, and i'll be transplanting all my parts onto a VTR/VTS when i upgrade in a year

burgin2011 29th October 2012 20:52

you probably like noise , but you make noise and don't go no were pointless , just have no exhaust system on what so ever! there you go alot of noise for free

If you have plenty of money to waste, you have definitely bought the right model of car :)

On a sale of 1 to impossible you mean?

If you need to ask the question, get someone else to do it.

Jason is a good bloke who will do a decent job.

Its not just the cost of the parts, there are other things to think about:

> Tools
> Ramps, stands, jacks etc
> Weather - What if it rains, do you have a garage etc?
> Space

What if you realise you need extra parts, do you have another car to go and get them?

Personally, pay the money and save the arseache.
