Pipercross Viper induction kit
will a Pipercross Viper induction kit from a MK 2 fit a MK 1?
http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=437648 This one to be precise. |
What engine?
|
1.1 my apologies
|
most induction kits are 99% universal , but you may have to buy piping to got from you TB to your induction kit ,
|
The question you should be asking yourself is what are you hoping to gain out of an aftermarket air filter?
On a 1.1 engine, the best you can hope for is a little more noise. Even if you get the slightest performance gain, it will not be noticeable. Unless you are getting it free or its less than a tenner, I wouldn't personally be spending this on a 1.1. |
what he said ^^ waste of money
|
I have plenty of money to waste, i like noise, and i'll be transplanting all my parts onto a VTR/VTS when i upgrade in a year
|
you probably like noise , but you make noise and don't go no were pointless , just have no exhaust system on what so ever! there you go alot of noise for free

sorted you can get everything for around £300 , and then sell your engine and box loom ect.. for around £150 , which in all isnt to bad, im sticking to my vtr cammed ect.. like to be different :)

Was going to pay jason £850 to do it, how hard would it be to do myself?

If you need to ask the question, get someone else to do it. Jason is a good bloke who will do a decent job. Its not just the cost of the parts, there are other things to think about: > Tools > Ramps, stands, jacks etc > Weather - What if it rains, do you have a garage etc? > Space What if you realise you need extra parts, do you have another car to go and get them? Personally, pay the money and save the arseache. |
Best thing for 1.1 is probably
