The question you should be asking yourself is what are you hoping to gain out of an aftermarket air filter?

On a 1.1 engine, the best you can hope for is a little more noise. Even if you get the slightest performance gain, it will not be noticeable. Unless you are getting it free or its less than a tenner, I wouldn't personally be spending this on a 1.1.

If you have plenty of money to waste, you have definitely bought the right model of car

On a sale of 1 to impossible you mean?

If you need to ask the question, get someone else to do it.

Jason is a good bloke who will do a decent job.

Its not just the cost of the parts, there are other things to think about:

> Tools
> Ramps, stands, jacks etc
> Weather - What if it rains, do you have a garage etc?
> Space

What if you realise you need extra parts, do you have another car to go and get them?

Personally, pay the money and save the arseache.

Best thing for 1.1 is probably
http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...products_id=36

Can't go wrong with that and you'll see a few ponies

There are some idiots in this section at the moment it seems.
