i wouldny cam and map the 1.4. no point at all. i dont know exactly what the power gaiins will be but i can see that if you want that power increase buy a vtr or a vts.
then cam that.

to late already been camed :) it goes well :) just wonderin if theres a need to get it mapped.... otherwise i can put the money into a cage :)

might be worth getting a few dyno runs to see what your air fuel ratio is. If it's safe and the car pulls well then put the money towards a cage !

well if there alredy in then id get it mapped. make sure the fueling and everything is right so your getting the full potential out of the car.

it could *feel* fine but actually be running incredibly lean and hence hot at the top end which will eventually destroy your engine.

you can take the spark plugs out actually, if the core is clean bright white and the outside is black, then it's over heating.
What you are looking (and hoping) for is a light brown sandy/dusty covering.

my mates got dastek piggyback ecu and dastek fuel managemet on his vts turbo, but no-one has the software to map it as a turbo, any suggestions to good mapping companies
